I didn't use it, but the obvious one is that xbar * cos theta must be less than OA.
Can anyone please explain January 2016 IAL Question 1 to me?

How do you get the angle 60 degrees? My geometry isn't incredible and I'm really confused.

The general formula is V^2 = W^2 (A^2 - X^2). When X = 0 this simplifies to V=AW

Init I've legit done nothing all day lets do the same 1 what u thinking?
Guys, if I get a 90%+ in M2, M4 and FP2 will that be an A*? I am also taking M3 (obviously), FP3 and FP1.

Lol well yeh. Unless you zero the rest of modules.
How come no M5? M4 is so live much better then shitty M3.

Good luck everyone, early night for me :smile:

Just remember to not panic if an answer doesn't come to you immediately. Time spent panicking is time not getting marks. Instead treat the problem as something interesting that you are trying to solve.

I will admit these exams are rather stressful when going for 100UMS, cannot afford to make any mistakes (even small ones!).

There was no slots for M5, I am doing AS and A2 FM in the same year so I can only do 6 modules.
Jesus M4 is much more interesting than M3, also most of the questions require you to show things so you pretty much can't make any mistakes except with colliding spheres.

Quicktime lets bang out Jan 2005? It has low boundries so was probably hard.
