This is what I think...though if anyone wants to add stuff to it then feel free:

Aluminium extraction takes a lot of energy and money to extract from the ore, so recycling would be cheaper and easier ( uses relatively less energy).
Gold is too precious and extraction is too expensive so recycling would be the best option.

Yeah

Molten substances get ionised to conduct electricity and help electrolysis. It would need to be molten for the metal ions to travel across the electrolyte to the cathode as well

Biofuels are carbon neutral. (Better for environment compared to Fossil Fuels)
Hydrocarbons are chains of Hydrogen and Carbon bonded together.
Copper is very good for conducting electricity.

The substance needs to be either molten or in a liquid state to allow the ions to move and go to the anode (metal ions) and cathode (hydroxide ions or the other substance in the solution/molten material. Also allows the electrons to form a full circuit

Because oxygen may react with titanium to produce titanium oxide. Argon is unreactive so it will not form a compound with Titanium.

We recycle Aluminium and Gold as it's cheaper and more Eco friendly to do so. Mining the limited ores (another reason why to recycle), transporting them, mixing bauxite to make the the MP lower (In Aluminium) and then undergoing electrolysis releases a lot of CO2/S04 into the atmosphere polluting it as well costing a lot of money.

These are the conditions used in the industrial manufacture of ammonia:

Pressure: 200 atmospheres
Temperature: 450 degrees celsius
Catalyst: Iron

Why are these conditions used? Why don't we increase the temperature or atmosphere?
