Some people have told me 3 and some told me 5!! Lol idk?
The 20 marker on education was A M A Z I N G. Think that saved me a bit  let's hope families and households is as decent as education...

For the 10 mark question i wrote about social solidarity (durkheim) and it socialising children into societies norms (parsons) but then criticised them both with a marxist view linking to how they think of the function of school is that still right??

Just re-replying as didn't do it properly first time!
I did SCLY 1 Poverty unit this morning, did you find it ok, I was happy at the time, but can think of things I did wrong now:frown:

But, thinking positive:smile:

What were the questions? x
Next year there's three papers: Education and theory and methods; topics in sociology (Fam. and households and an optional from second year, for me it's mass media); crime and deviance and theory and methods

Is anyone elee confused about families? What kind of questions could they ask you about couples, everything in this textbook relates back to them becoming more equal and im not sure how to structure that for a 20 mark ?

I'm not sure but maybe they could ask something like assess the view couples are becoming more equal??

Has anyone got the mark scheme for yesterdays AS paper on education?

Yeah, you'd structure it like this:
Couples are becoming more equal - functionalists (march of progress view); policies and laws; maybe liberal feminists
Couples aren't becoming more equal - radical feminists; maybe postmodernists (though they don't think they're not equal, they think we should look at the meanings couples give to the division of labour, etc.)
Would pupil premium be right for question 2?
How many marks roughly do you think you'll need for a C?
