Peat Bogs and Limestone are two good examples. How come its bad to destroy peat bogs and to carry out the combustion fossil fuels?

The copper can be extracted from the cathode.

The cathode is attracted to the anode? :s-smilie: Surely, its the Cu2+ ions are attracted to the cathode and the Hydroxide or Sulphate Ions are attracted to the anode since they are - charged?

the other method:
mixing hydrocarbon vapour and steam at a high temperature

Phytomining is when plants are planted in areas where extracting from ores wouldn't be worth it and the plants take in the metal compounds and can't get rid of them so they are stored and then the plants are burnt and metal compounds extracted from the ash. Bio leaching is when bacteria are used to break bonds or something... I'm not sure.

C1 is going to be a total fail it seems...

phytomining is when plants are grown over the low grade copper. They absorb the copper and when burnt produces copper compunds as an ash. This can be separated through electrolysis or disillation.

Bio leaching uses bacteria to produce a solution of copper(I think are called leachates) which can then be separated through distillation or electrolysis

These are done often for low grade copper ores when smelting would be too expensive to use as there are not enough high grade ores

The Independent variable is a variable which is deliberately changed and the dependent may change when the independent changes (The variable which is being experimented).... I think so anyway
