For the first question in paper 2 this is what I got:

a) Proton - 1 mass
Neutron - 0 charge

ii) Electron and -1 charge

iii) relative atomic mass = 14.5

b) Pyramidal

ii) Haber process

Is that roughly what you guys got for the first 5?

I said Tetrahedral for b :frown:

Oh. Was it not pyramidal because three lines came out?

Yep! Have u got a copy of paper 2? You seem to know the questions so just asking :-)

Nope, don't have paper 2.

The second question was the monomers I think.
Anyone got multiple choice answers ?

I just want to see paper 2 really badly now!!!

When do sqa release the papers on their website?

I think they release it a day or two days after we get our results on 9th of august, unfortunately..

No your definitely correct with pyramidal but I just got it wrong

How many marks was that question ?

What do you think you got out of 20 for multiple choice ?

All of those questions were worth 5, so if it was pyramidal you would get 4/5.

I'm sitting at 18 or 19. Was fairly straightforward, some new style questions, nothing too bad, But nothing too easy. I think I've messed up on the last question in MC and apparently the polester one as well.

I got everything the same apart from the relative atomic mass , at first I had 14.5 then I changed it to 14. So annoyed ...

Pretty sure you can't bring out section b as you write on it

A girl in my exam asked the invigilator for a spare question booklet to take away with her and they let her, not sure if all of them let you do that though

Q2 for paper 2 was monomers right?

This is what I got.

2a) Drew the monomer out 3 times

b) Addition

c) Drew the monomer of the ACID not the styrene.

I said Ammonium for the last one of the multiple choice (D) and for the esters one I said it has two functional goups, is that correct ?

Yeah that's what I got. But wait is the styrene one the C6H8 one? That's the one I didn't draw.

You got to admit the polymer was a gift. We were lucky it wasn't a condensation polymer...

The answer for the last one was B.

The answer for the ester one was D, so yeah you got this one right, But the last one wrong.
