Went so well so happyyy, At least it had something to do with chemistry & made up for that AMAZING biology exam (sarcasm)
Hope the biology exams grade boundary is low
A* = 40
A = 35
B = 30
C = 25 (These are just my guesses not official)

I think the grade boundaries for Chemistry will be pretty high as a lot of people found it easy.
A* = between 52 to 56
A = 45 to 50
B = 39 to 43
C = 30

30 for a c??? jesus christ it wasnt EVEN easy let alone easy, last years exam was 2 times easier than todays one and those grade bouandries were like 31 for a B and 41 for a A

p.s bio was easier if its 40 for an A* THEN I HAPPILY CRUISED THAT

I signed the petition! Hopefully it's a success. If the biology grade boundaries are high I'm almost certain it will pull my grade down...

That is quite reasonable I guess

Isn't it usually about 20 for a C on a usual paper, so I'm guessing 18 for Biology and 23/24 for a C on Chemistry
On the experiment question what was the black substance at the bottom?

When I've been doing my past papers 19 has been the average for a C with all the other grades going up in increments of 10.

I guessed and put Carbon Monoxide but I'm not sure:s-smilie:
Even if some of us feel the C1 Exam wasn't as easy as others found it (were all different) then we have a chance to up our marks in the C2 and for some of us C3. No worries, the exam is done and handed in and we can't change that so let's just get ready for our next exams :smile:

Grade boundaries are going to be very high :frown:
Probs around 53 for an A*

Nah it wouldn't be that high, I'd say 50 A*, 45 A, 39 B

Anyone know the reason why it was 4Fe rather than 2Fe2?

Fe2 doesn't exist as you cannot have a number after a metal. So the answer was 4Fe to balance out the iron atoms

Soot or Pure Carbon

Fe2 does exist. It was in the original equation ie - Fe2O3 + C.....

However, this is different to saying 2Fe2.
