OH MY GOD i just got an offer for Genomics in Nottingham. I was 5th reserve I think. Surprised so many people have dropped out!

Are any of the other Nottingham people on here? Would be cool to know who's going to be around :smile:

No, I'm doing clinical bioinformatics (physical), really want it to be official so I can start looking for somewhere to live :')

Does anyone know which university provides the neurophysiology course? It says Manchester and Aston but no indication of which! Any help would be appreciated :smile:

I'm not sure yet, my boyfriend has a job for next year but doesn't know where it will be yet which is a bit annoying :/ don't really want to live on my own though, so going to try and house share if he ends up not near me :smile: you?

I'm in a similar position with my girlfriend (she doesn't know where she'll be). But I think I'll be looking for a house share too I guess. I don't think I've ever been to Nottingham but I've heard its nice! :smile:

Partners are such a pain :') I've been there once, but I was quite a bit younger so can't really remember it, but my parents like it :smile:

Hi!

I've asked 3 days ago - nothing yet. Not even acknowledgement.

EDIT:

Just received this:

"Thank you for your subject access request (SAR).
This has now been commissioned to the relevant local team, who will be contact with you in due course.
You may be asked for a cheque of £10 and proof of ID to process your request.
Upon receiving this, your request will be processed within 40 calendar days and a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you confirming as to when you should expect a response."

I've already attached copy of my passport as ID, but apparently they just use the same 'text' for everyone.


Did anyone who already received an actual feedback send them a cheque??

Possibly you very just lucky about it :wink:
Or one of the first to ask. Maybe now they have so many requests that they need to 'filter' them somehow...

Not sure. Maybe I did get lucky. I only emailed them on Tuesday though!
Unless I get upgraded, I'm going to shrewsbury too :smile: what is your specialism?

Same here Hurriya. 1st reserve, not heard anything yet. My hopes are almost gone now.. Let me know if you hear anything
