I got √5 for the modulus, which is like 2.23, oh well

It was root 5 :biggrin:
Same.

No idea for the lines. I got a=-1 and so the modulus was sqrt(5), which is 2.34.
Come and vote and see last year's FP1 voting and boundaries

Wow! I ran out of time

I messed up question 7 and the matrices question, probably along with others...

Now I can't afford to **ck up either D1 or M2.

Couldn't even prove the equation of the chord :frown: completely messed up on the graph questions and complex number questions. Solid D here I come

oh right, a was -1, modulus was root5 and argument was something like 2.03

How was the Mod Root 5?
I dropped 6 marks for definite and accounting for silly mistakes I would guess I got 65/75. But then it was a resit for me :tongue: pretty sure I have secured an A in AS further maths

Onwards and upwards!

Yeah couldnt do it, so i pretended my working was equal to the answer given :/

yeah same haha, kind of just jumped to the answer because I didn't know how to do the intermediate steps
I thought the question asked for the relationship between OR AND OP. So stupid!
Really messed up bad. Anyone have the paper and/or unofficial answers?

Got the modulus to be 5, cause it was -5 right? So sqr. root of -5 squared gave me 5. But I probably read the question wrong considering so many are saying root 5.
Anyone found the model answers

It said to leave it to 3SF I think
I got root5 for the modulus.

2.03 for the modulus and -8i for z squared?

Yeah I did :smile: It was just easier to say root 5 :biggrin:

How did you do 7(d)? Find the value of k for which T maps points on y=kx onto itself?

k=5

It wanted the modulus and argument of z, not z^2+2z
Anyone remember how many marks the last two parts of 9 were worth?

Think I lost all them marks but got the rest the paper

For the first proof by induction is it alright if I didn't do the step shown in the pic?

I got 5root2-5/2root2, which is the same.

Was the x coordinate of the last question somethinf like 15 (root2)/4?

How was the Mod Root 5?

Z = -1 + 2i, so modulus of z was root(1+4)
Paper was p*ss, but the candidate number didn't have enough boxes for my mobile? Did they want that to text me my grade???
