Yes. However the negative one is rejected as x is positive.

ok, just wondered because it seemed like a weird answer

Probably A
Highly doubt that would be 90 UMS but of course that is irrelevant with regards to getting an A* overall

What UMS roughly would I get if I lost 15-18 marks?

I dunno really. Probably mid-late 70s.

Ok thanks guess I'll have to do well in my other modules to try get an A

Did anyone else get plus or minus root 2 over 2 for the first question?

Yes, although I’m pretty sure it can be both positive or negative.

74 /75 gutted i didnt write sqrt(5) to 3s.f :frown:
That's the only mark I think I lost too!!! depending on what the marks are like for the geometric line segment question

Ya, its what Arsey got in his model answers

Madness! Kickin myself cause when i was writing it i thought i should probably write it out...and then decided not too
hi,
i didnt write the co-ordinates on the argand diagram, just p,q,r and correct lines,
is that ok?
Using Arsey's, I have about 70/75, any idea what that is in UMS?
hey how did you lot prove R was self inverse? I showed that R^2=I. Is that good enough? (it was a 1 marker soooo)
Hmmm, barring a silly algebraic mistake - looks good to me.

No - look at the question again. It says exact values.

F~U~C~K there goes yet another mark.... At this speed I won't even get an A 😔

The were two question where the answer was root 2. Q1 no do not reject the negative. Q5 (I think) reject the negative because the X Co-ordinate is positive.

On a side not do you think I will get the mark for correct unsimplified answer to the exact value of the X coordinate as it did not say in the simplist form.

He is referring to the wrong question in Q1 you do not reject the negative.

Hopefully. I don't even know how u guys remember the questions so well like that.
