Video: Worst Muslim Migrant Riots Ever Break Out at Refugee Camp in Greece

Violence erupted again on Wednesday at Idomeni, the sprawling tent city that has been created on Greece’s northern border with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM). Incidents began at 8:30 p.m. when about a hundred migrants ran towards the police block, pushing a wagon or train cart to break through to the other side. The riot squad was quick to respond, firing extreme amounts of tear gas at the crowds. Soon, a massive brawl broke out as a number of migrants threw stones and objects at the police, setting at least four tents on fire.
Tear gas? Fire bullets at them.

Not sure why their religion needed to be specified. It's not like every time Michael Gove says something stupid the headline reads "Christian politician Michael Gove say..."

Let's imagine thousands of Christian immigrants were massed at the borders of say pakistan, trying to force their way in. Do you think that the media and Pakistanis in general would go out of their way to avoid mentioning the fact that they were Christian?
It's totally relevant.

No, it's only relevant if their religion has some bearing on the events or if there is some other group of migrants gathered there that we might think the headline is referring to instead.

Also, "going out of their way"? It's hardly "going out of their way" to simply not type in a word. You can play innocent all you like but that word was put in their deliberately, to get more retweets and shares and so on.
