I've studied Of Mice and Men and The Woman in Black,

Is it necessary to write a conclusion for each of the essays I write?

For GCSE? No, there is nothing in the mark scheme which suggests that you may need to do an introduction or conclusion. My English teacher tells us to go straight to the PEE stuff which actually picks you up marks.
just make sure you explain everything FULLY with quotes to support. Can't go wrong! Good luck

Yeah that's what I thought, my teacher just said that an introduction and conclusion is helpful in a more physiological kinda way. Like the examiner is able to see your structure better and it looks more presentable so they give you higher marks?

But ain't nobody got time for that
