End Of Year and I'm crying

Ive been at university for the past year and I am getting to the end of it. I've got 2 weeks left but my boyfriend and most of my friends have left. I cant make it through a night without crying. I had it at the start of the year and that's why I kept myself busy but now I don't have anything to do. I feel like I've grown an attachment to my bf and friends and now I'm alone. Any advice that people can give me or personal experiences that are the same?
I was once very homesick and couldn't stop crying, I missed my friends and my sailing club and my mum... I was all very overwhelming, and all I could do was sit and cry. You should try to find something to distract you. But remember to stay positive, it won't be like this forever, think of all the good times that are yet to come! 😊
You need to develop a thicker skin and accept that being alone is okay. It sounds as if you are overly dependent on others for your happiness, and I would suggest dealing with this sooner rather than later.

There will be many times in life you will be on your own, some worse than others. Being alone is okay.

In my 1st year at uni I became friends mostly with two different groups of 2nd years. Had a great time, until I reached the end of 3rd year and they all graduated and left. Found it tough, but just had to think about it positively: time to concentrate on my final year, make plans for after uni, save some money, meet new people, take up a new hobby...

You'll be fine, just don't wallow
As the others have said, try to keep yourself busy - you have not got long left to go and then your set free for the summer

Even at my age I still have to remind myself that its ok to be yourself even if you are being yourself alone for a while.
This really isn't very helpful, it's obviously not as easy as just saying "grow a thicker skin, deal with it".

The problem is that most people have left and there isn't anything to do. Do you have any ideas on what I should do?

I feel like I've understood it but I don't know how to deal with it. Is there anything you suggest?
A lot of us are probably in a similar boat. Do you have a student rep?, or the student union website, you could ask what is going on and whether you are interested in getting involved in anything. Even speak to your friends who have gone home and see if anyone who they know who is still at uni wants to catch up for a chat or a socialise?.

Of course it's not easy, but then again that isn't what I said now, is it?

It's hard. I struggle to be alone sometimes myself, because for awhile I'd gotten used to a pretty solid companionship. At the end of the day to become a healthier person you need to be comfortable with yourself and content when/if you're flying solo for a bit. The best thing to do is try and find a balance in your life between alone time and time spent with loved ones.
