I did 65 for 6x6 today, absolute monster of an exercise to get through. Literally at the start of each set thinking; "have I rested long enough to not balls this up and lose my fourth/fifth/sixth rep"

No. Squats are the longest, due to the amount of dread. I think; I don't really time my rest periods, but I think my squat rest periods are generally longer than my pressing or benching ones. But today I think I did rest a bit longer.

Fair, I guess maybe I'm juts not used to volume yet
As difficult as the last heavy effort. Stance maybe a bit narrow on the second set. Technique a bit hit or miss. But I don't think they were quite as hard as the last time I did this.
