It is due up though this year? Could be a potentially easy Q when you break it all down.

People are really predicting that and Marxism to be the 20 marker
How would you answer it with regards to evaluation what would you evaluate against?

Oh no please don't say that I've been avoiding it :laugh::laugh:
It's not that it's hard, it's just such a long topic

Tough one, it could be a range of AO2, for example:

- Cultural Deprivation Vs Material Deprivation (EXTERNAL)

- Internal Vs External (although this is unlikely as it appeared in June 2012)

It is very similar to Class though, in it's structure you should follow.

So Internal: Labelling > Responses (SFP) Subcultures + Ethnocentric curriculum and racism in society

External: Material and Cultural Dep

More I'm thinking about it the more I think social class or something like new right will come up
Ethnicity has come up kinda a lot in the smaller questions.

Very true but there is not a lot you could write for a 20m on New Right policy it would have to include Functionalism too.

Pryce(1979) study in St Pauls Bristol about African Caribbean boys who finished school with no GCSE's and instead made rational choices about their education releasing that the institution was inherently racist chose to resist schooling and take up deviant careers in petty crime because they view this as the only way they can succeed in life.
Check the study out in itself it's in much greater detail than what i have here.

Don't even need to mate
You shouldn't write long para's on studies. Examiners hate that. AQA conference we went to said no more than 3 lines.
Just need to say what it shows

But still doesn't change the fact that Pryce is about ethnicity and appears in ethnicity booklets

Fair enough my teacher has told everyone in our year that a knowledge of in depth studies not only is an easy way to secure marks at A01 but is necessary To do be better at AS.
But to be fair he's pretty S***.
