And here we have someone that doesn't know much about computers...

i7 6820k= around £400
4x Titan Z = £10,076
64 GB Ram= £222
1TB SSD = £202
6TB HDD= £182
Cases and Fans: £500
Monitors= At least £2,400

The main benefit being that you'd be able to run any game at a decent FPS, at "Ultra" graphics settings.
Or do high quality image/video editing too.

Personally I could never put that much money into a PC.
I'd feel as if I'd have to justify spending so much money on said PC by turning into a "shut-in" :biggrin:

Put it towards house deposit or wedding.

Maybe he meant he'll put the £5k towards this setup. Not necessarily hope the £5k alone would cover it all.
Probably invest in precious metals like gold, silver or even platinum. I don't like holding onto fiat currency :smile:
