What were the two conserved physical quantities in the inelastic collision (comet or whatever)? I think it was 1 mark, i knew momentum was one, I didn't put kintetic energy because its not conserved in inelastic collisions, so randomly put mass lol. I heard someone say it was momentum and total energy is that right?


i think you werent doing g481. right?

collisions, momentum and conservation of momentum is in g484 i think he wasnt doing our paper.

no, the paper that was at 3 hours ago today. There was collision questions, even the one when the electron hit the carbon/hydrogen atom and you had to work out velocity


or you were doing g485, cuz there were some g484/g485 resitters
THANK THE LORD THAT WAS EASY!

I hope I managed to pull off from that retarded D from last year to a good A this year, pulling my overall physics grade from a mid B to a mid A! Although seeing as lots of the paper was fact recall, and for ONCE it actually resembled past papers which I done, the grade boundaries are going to rocket. 48/49 will definitely be the A boundary :s-smilie:.

The highest the grade boundary has been is 47/60 (A) for june 2010 g481

So i imagine it would be the roughly about the same for this paper, about 46-48 for an A

x proportional to u^2 because braking distance is proportional speed^squared

It came up in many past papers before and was mentioned in mark schemes!

force divided by extension
Man ... Last year the answer to question one for labeling axis when gradient is equal to K was force and Length not extension ... Wtf so i thought its gonna br force per unit length rather than extension !
