Edexcel C2 - Question about factorials!

What do we actually need to know about factorials (!)? Because, in all the past papers i've ever done, i've only ever seen 1 markers on it. Is that the extent of what they can test us on, or could they give us full blown questions on it?

It's usually just included within binomial expansion within the form

n^\mathrm{C}_r

but i guess it's useful to know what

3!\ means

I doubt they'd give you full blown questions on it, but all you need to know is the definition of it to be able to work out pretty much anything.
