It wasn't a hoax. The film footage is on YouTube, search for Eddie and Keela. They found cadaver odour in the apartment, on Kate McCann's clothes and in the boot of the hire car they used after her disappearance 2 weeks later.

I'm half Portuguese, half english. The amount of tension i faced as a result of my heritage was immense back when this had just happened, mainly because brainwashed english people had decided portugal was a place of evil where little english kids get taken by evil portuguese paedos, and that portugal must be a "third world country"

In the end, even those people started to end up agreeing that actually the mccanns knew what happened. From what i recall, they gathered loads of money "to help find maddy" and bought a new 4x4. They left portugal about 2 weeks after she was suppposed to have disappeared. Dogs smelt her dna in the boot of their car. There is no mystery here

As far as the timeline goes, there seems little chance they had the time to overcome their panic, to make a decision to get rid off the body, to find find a boat to take them to see, to find weight to make sure the body stays down.

And where would they have found someone to do that for them? And you really think that guy wouldn't have talked by now?

Not saying they are innocent, just don't believe in silly conspiracy theories.

She's dead. I think there is some evidence to show the parents did it and the McCann files do a good job of that.
Scent of death in the flat and in rental car, washing a teddy bear used by Madeleine, also why would Gerry take an old fridge to the town dump? Who does that on holiday?

class has absolutely nothing to do with it, middle class or not it was absolutely appalling to leave children that age on their own at night. certainly not 'normal' behaviour, maybe in the forest the bears leave their young but not in the human world!!
