I think u meant what hight should the bridge have instead of perimeter

Should the perimeter of the bridge I jump off be 120m
I think I got all of them correct except the log one. I got 0.47 or something for some reason. How did you guys solve it?

the hight should be 3 times bigger then the perimeter u mentioned and jump with ur body upside down.

Guys wasn't part a of Q9 = 1/3pi(x^2)????

because the sector area is 1/2r^2(theta)
which is 1/2(x^2)(2/3pi)

= 2/6pi(x^2)
= 1/3pi(x^2)
??

I did it in degrees?? I checked all the requirements and I swear, regardless of b and c being in radians, that it doesn't specify :s-smilie:

I got 60x^2
Would I still get method marks or...?

It doesn't usually matter in C2.

The area of a sector in degrees is given by:

A=n360πr2A=\frac{n}{360}\pi r^2

So you would of gotten

A=120360πx2A=\frac{120}{360}\pi x^2

A=13πx2A=\frac{1}{3}\pi x^2

So you'd end up with the same answer either way.
