Hey guys can anyone tell me all the group 7 reactions we need to know? thank you in advance

The displacement reactions for Chlorine,Bromine and Iodine.

Solid Sodium Halides(F,Cl,Br,I) with Sulfuric Acid, and the subsequent redox reactions of HBr and HI.

Also, the Silver Nitrate test.

In addtion to these, we also need to know:

The reaction of chlorine with water to form chloride ions and chlorate (I) ions

The reaction of chlorine with water to form chloride ions and oxygen

and,

The reaction of chlorine with cold, dilute, aqueous NaOH and uses of the solution formed

Can you tell me the reactions of HBr and HI because the products in my textbook are different from those my teacher taught me, so I'm unsure which is correct

Same here
I think it would definitely be harder than usual.
I'm only retaking unit 1, wbu?
what units will be on the first paper?

can someone pls message me if they have the list?
Just worked that out😊

Physical:
Atomic structure
Amount of substance
Bonding
Energetics
Chemical equilibria, Le Chatelier's principle and Kc
Oxidation, Reduction and Redox equations

Inorganic:
Periodicity
Group 2 Alkali Metals
Group 7 Halogens

Relevant Pratical skills - can some one give specific example of this?

HBr + H2SO4 = Br2+H2O+SO2
HI + H2SO4 = I2+H2O+H2S

For the HI it could make just S instead of H2S too, you need to balance those though

Whats the difference between cold dilute and aqeuous NaOH reactions

unit 1 and 2 need to cushion myself for unit 4 and 5
Why does ionization energies decrease from one period to another? Thanks in advance

I'm feeling okay until now
I don't think I'm ready yet whoops
Glad I have the whole day tomorrow
Have you got a list of definitions?

no tbf i should have created one the variation of the size of molecules and the strict marking between saying the word bigger and larger can make you lose alot of marks
