I'm pretty sure the binomial expansion question was

(1+2x)^5

not (2+x)^5 ?

Correct:
(1+2x)^5 * (2+x)^7

For the question about finding the perimeter, I got the radius of the sector to be 5.8. Most people who attempted the question at my sixth form did too. I'm not sure which is right xD

I think the radius was like 5.83 or something.
The last one is -5/2, (4X^2 + 20x +25) = (2x+5)^2

It was 4x^2 - 20x + 25 = 0

How many marks do I lose for not finding u12 but just finding a and d in the series question?

Most likely two marks for finding a and d, and lost one mark for not finding u12

Absolutely agree with Bosssman it was indeed:

4x^2 – 20x + 25 =0

Formed from

4x^2 + 36x + 45 = 56x + 20

(Then rearranged to get the above)

Can you remember the original log equation?

Can you remember the original log equation?

log4(2x+3) + log4(2x+15) = 1 + log4(14+5)
Note when I say log4 I mean log base 4 (But can't use subscripts as I'm on my phone)

Ah yeah slipped up, any idea how many marks id lose? Just forgot the minus, I think on a harsh paper it would be 2, but im not sure, what do you think an A is, I think i got around 65

Predicted Grade Boundaries

A - 61
B - 56

Was easier than last year but not the easiest paper there's been.

At most you'd lose the A1 mark (Anymore would be ridiculous and harsh) but kudos on taking on a relatively formidable question for C2.

Your projected mark of 65 should be comfortably beyond an A so congratulations!
what was the first question the actual numbes

People generally found the paper quite difficult judging from the poll, so 90UMS is likely to be about 65.

My personal predicted boundaries:

Full UMS - 72
A - 56
B - 48
C - 41
D - 33
E - 26
