How is an NHS bursary paid back

Not the tuition fees but the maintenance (non-means tested, basic award and the extra weeks allowance) -paid in monthly instalments. Is this paid back? If so, how and when?

Thank you

A bursary does not have to be repaid.

Maintenance and Tuition Fee Loans are repaid by deductions from your wages, once you earn over £21,000 a year.
