Is the Cardiac Cycle on the AQA AS specification?

so cardiac dystole, atrial systole and ventricular systole - is there a requirement for knowledge on this? found a useful video if so, but not sure if it's old or new spec :frown:

I can't find it anywhere in new specifacation
Yes, it is on the specification. You only need to know what VALVES open and close e.g. Semi-Lunar and Atria-Ventricular valves during each stage of the cardiac cycle, also which chamber contracts etc.

HOWEVER,

You do not need to know about the electrical impulses that control these contractions e.g. Sinoatrial and Sinoventricular nodes. That is from the old specification, not the new specification.
