Your favourite rock and metal albums?

Hey guys, I was wondering what your favourite rock and metal albums are? I'm hoping I might find some new albums to listen to!

I'd say that my own favourites are (in no particular order):

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Frostrealm by Suotana
Sunset on the Golden Age by Alestorm
Hate Crew Deathroll by Children of Bodom
The Sound of Madness by Shinedown

What are yours? :h:
I've had Heir To Scoria And Ash, by Mortichnia, on repeat for several weeks now. Seriously good black metal.

I've never really been into black metal honestly, but I will give it a listen!

The instrumentals on City of Evil by Avenged Sevenfold are just incredible
- the vocals are incredibly nasal throughout this album tho it ruins it imo

an example of dem instrumentals doe:

The vocals on Nightmare by them are insane as well

The vocals in A7X songs ruin them for me as well. I do enjoy listening to instrumentals of their songs though!

Yeah Matt's voice is such a hit or miss depending on the song I guess. In the earlier albums it was so nasal like it's actually unbearable to listen to I'm pretty sure he sang everything out of his nose T_T
But his vocals improved in the self titled album, and imo they were best during Nightmare - he can do the raspy thing really well and he KILLS it live *___*

I guessed you'd have Halestorm in there!
There was an album with probably the best song ive ever heard on it, last heard it when I was a kid, just discovered it after so long! The main thing that catches you - in a weird way - is da rudeness of it:

Yeah it's not for everyone

The album this came from is pretty decent though, would thoroughly recommend. Alice Cooper and friends, basically.

Regular members are Alice, Johnny Depp, and Joe Perry. Guest appearances by pretty much everyone
Probably going to get a lot of hate for this but Hysteria by Def Leppard is one of my favourite albums of all time. I just love the terrible 80s mullets.

Also Pretty Hate Machine by NIN but that's more "industrial" I guess...
Rush- moving pictures & permanent waves
