Yah coz u subtract 1/4 of 200 from it..
It was:
200*25%= 50
200-50=150
Should be all the marks👆

For the question x^2=4(x-3)^2

Once you simplify and solve and whatever you get (3x-18)(x-2), so x=18 and x=2
I accidentally put (3x+18)(x+2) there fore i got x=-18 and x=-2. How many points would i lose?
The question was either on 3 or 5 points

Idk I square rooted everything to get
X=2x-3
X-3=0
x=3

But I think it's actually 6 because I forgot to times 2 by -3:/

@Mr M didn't you say that discussion of the exam isn't allowed until tomorrow?

I believe that advice is not applicable to GCSE. It's okay to discuss today,

IIRC it was:
A teacher is picked at random. There is a 3/5 chance they are female.
There are 36 male teachers.
How many teachers are there all together.

Take this with a grain of salt though as I'm knackered and could well be wrong.

There are people on this forum who have not yet sat this exam. Some may be asking to confirm questions and answers only to get the questions and answers for when they sit it later today.

The grades will rise if you give answers on here. Do not jeopardise your grade by giving answers until tomorrow.

Yes

Damn I wrote the complete opposite!!! I only put 500.... ;-;
can someone link the question paper along with the answers/worked solutions so I can see how my lil sibling
performed :lol:

If you don't have the answers just the question paper would be fine.

For this qu I got x is 2 or 6:

x^2 = 4x^2 + 24x - 36, sub x^2 from left side:
3x^2 - 24x + 36, divide by 3
x^2 - 8x + 12, factorise:
(x - 2)(x - 6)
x = 2 or 6 (I think)

If your working out is correct, you won't lose many marks.
What was the female one
Q1 750cm^3
Q2 too vague and no timeframe
The class is a small sample/biased

45
90
No not enough varnish cos she needs 50cm^2 but has 37.5cm^2
60
T=5x+20y
(-3,-2)
11 females
100-25pi
36%
I compared median, IQR and range

Hey, if anybody is willing to contribute the answers, and preferably the questions, then I shall set up a mark scheme for you all. Thanks in advance!

Can people please attach question numbers to their answers? Method would be appreciated.

Spoiler

There was a two-way table question where you had to find out the number of females that went to the art gallery, I got 11.
