There are people on this forum who have not yet sat this exam. Some may be asking to confirm questions and answers only to get the questions and answers for when they sit it later today.The grades will rise if you give answers on here. Do not jeopardise your grade by giving answers until tomorrow.

Nope..
Coz -18+-2 doesn't equal -24
I got different answers I think

it would be -18x and -6x (2 x 3) which does = 24x

IIRC it was:
A teacher is picked at random. There is a 3/5 chance they are female.
There are 36 male teachers.
How many teachers are there all together.

Take this with a grain of salt though as I'm knackered and could well be wrong.

can you send it to my home address please, we ran out of salt yesterday :frown:

I just attempted this and got this too - you're right. Simply square rooting both sides will eliminate solutions.

I believe that advice is not applicable to GCSE. It's okay to discuss today,

@TheOtherSide It's fine to discuss this exam today! Edexcel have made sure that all international students are sitting it at the same time throughout their different time zones :h: so chat away!

Oh wait, I checked the official thread again, and it's definitely fine. Thanks for that!
Any questions you remember? Tell me them and I'll give an answer :smile:

There was a two-way table question where you had to find out the number of females that went to the art gallery, I got 11.

All I can remember is that 66 students went on a trip, there were 3 activities (skating, art gallery, and bowling), it wanted to know how many females went to the art gallery, and the answer was 11.

2/5 are male

0.4 = 36
0.1 = 9
times by 10 = 90

90 teachers, 36 male 54 female
I got 1cm for the last question oh well
Also I thought the circle theorem question was an alternate angle question?

I think the envelope question was T= 5x + 20y but I have no idea why it was 3 marks
