Yeah the question was definitely that, I got 0.04 too! yay

would it still be right if you said 4%.
No that doesn't mean it's wrong

Yes as -5m+10 is already simplified, no need to factor it.

i got 147

it was 150 because £130 is the lower quartile, meaning 75% of workers got payed £130 or more, and 75% of 200 is 150

I think it was:
there are 3/5 male teachers
there are 36 males
How many teachers are there altogether.

So firstly you say 2/5 female teachers... i don't wanna go any further because i got 60 as my final answer whilst others got 90!

40% = 36

Therefore 100% = 36/40 * 100 = 90 people total

people who got 60 are wrong.

You could be right, I've never factorised it after simplifying nor have I ever been told to.

It was a 5 mark question I think. I made that mistake too but when I checked, I changed my answer to the right one.

No.

3/5 are female.
That means 2/5 must be male.
There are 36 male. Therefore the total number of teachers = 36/(2/5).
This is the same as 36*(5/2), which is 180/2 which is 90.

She didn't have enough, she had 7.5l but needed 10l to cover the floor which was 50m^2
