Yes, as its equivalent to 5x+20y

its because when you subtract a negative power it becomes positive.... possibly one mark, i made the same mistake

62 is normally a high B. My teacher reckons it's 65 for an A on this paper
Being an idiot when I got 100-25pi, I divided everything by 5 to 'simplify' but that was quite wrong! Only a mark lost though :smile:

For question 5, I out 45 first then changed it to 50, would answer 50 days still get full marks?

They mean on the one paper so like , about 31 would have been a C on each paper

Honestly don't know, might get a mark for method (getting the 100-25pi) but that's about it.
If I get between 50-55 on this paper could I still get an a overall and how many marks would I need. Did so bad on this paper and don't know why because it wasn't even that bad. Also anyone have any good revision tips for the calculator paper as I need to do good on it

If you get 100 in calc that's 155, best case scenario, which depending on grade boundaries MIGHT get you an A
