Not necessarily so.
Quality of life in Mediterranean country side can be worth thousands compared to bed sit in rain soaked Manchester.

If our quality of life is really lower then why are people choosing to come here?

I'd say if these people are coming here, then its HERE that the money should be spent to give them BETTER JOBS ..

EU tax money should be spent here to help EU citizens who come here get better jobs. Its not rocket science.
If you want the EU to give people here better jobs via investment grants, vote NO to get a better deal.

The link I posted shows EU investment into the UK sector designed to do exactly that.

http://europa.eu/about-eu/basic-information/money/expenditure/index_en.htm

24.7% of EU revenue spent in the UK is allocated towards regional structural development. In other words, sustainable development and the promotion of education and training to reduce structural unemployment.

14.7% of EU revenue spent in the UK is allocated towards Research and Development projects. This is pure investment to further the growth and long-term capacity of the UK economy. This value is nearly DOUBLE THE EU AVERAGE of 7%.

We are receiving investment. We likely would not receive investment due to economic uncertainty, and 9/10 economists agree that Brexit would be harmful to the UK economy.
