Also, using statistics to form an opinion doesn't make a person bad. Well that's not really true. There's a reason why during training, doctors and nurses have to go out into the hospitals to learn, there's nothing like field practice. What you think you see and know is a very different thing to when you're experiencing, so the arrogance of your message is completely highlighted by the ignorance it.

Making broad statements like that is a bit problematic because it will suggest to less intelligent people that Mexicans are inherently prone to rape whether or not that was the intention of the original speaker.

What's wrong with saying 'Unfortunately a worrying number of Mexicans have committed rape' ?
