Can they ask about AV since its not actually used in the UK?

It is used in Northern Irish by-elections and we had the 2011 AV referendum so it's worth learning. Maybe not a question on it but it is a factor you could include in an answer.

I'm pretty sure AV is used to elect the Labour Party Leader? But they probably won't ask specifically about AV probably just SV, but it probably would be useful o know about it for 25 markers if a question about electoral reform etc came up

They would say 'electoral systems' allowing you a choice. They usually ask you to discuss at least 3 used in the UK - so you can discuss FPTP, AMS, Closed Party List and even STV instead

At the moment, yes. But I shall be revising solidly through day and night and will hopefully have learned enough of the course to do alright with.

Referendums for Democracy and maybe is the UK a liberal democracy?

For Elections, something to do with other electoral systems definitely

For PGs, maybe factors limiting PG success or how PGs support the concept of pluralism

For the democracy one would you just say....
Few regular elections
Pressure groups and different political parties are tolerated
Judiciary is independent

Then against..:.
HOL and monarchy unelected
PM arbitrary powers
Struggling to think of what else tbh...?

That's a tricky Qu
Wouldn't you say things like it was in the labour manifesto that they would use PR or something

I only have 1 point so far which is that there was growing dissatisfaction with the unrepresentative nature of FPTP.

Also last year what UMS scores did you get in each of the politics papers last year?

What topic is that? Judiciary?

It's part of the Parliament and Constitution, they're referring to the Conservative's plan of introducing a British Bill of rights instead of a codified constitution which would entrench citizens rights
