haha, I'm 17 at the end of August so I will have to wait till next year to drive. Hopefully I'll get a lift for free, otherwise it's £20 in train fares. :P

Hi, does anyone know if this Summer residential is exclusively open to UK residents? I'm currently living in Spain and I don't really know if I can apply?
Also, how do you know if they still accept applicantions? Because I've checked the Eventbrite site, and the only sold out course is the Biology one.

Hi i'm not entirely sure, its advertised for year 12 students so i presume thats just uk residents? Also i think the application is closed, when i applied in march it said closing date was the 9th may for me? Not sure you may have to contact Edge Hill to find out

The bus is your easiest route. Don't get the train! (You have to go basically into Liverpool then change for the Ormskirk line) takes about an hour and a half on the train,
Just get the bus it's about a fiver

Also it's £3 for a taxi to the uni from town or about a 15 minute walk, the edge link probably won't be running =)

Hi, thanks for your help. I've already sent them an email and they told me I could apply even if I wasn't from the UK, but thanks anyway!

I've another question, in the personal statement do I only have to explain why I have selected my chosen subject area and how the residential will benefit me in making your decision about Higher Education? Or do I have to include anything else?
