CGP revision books and BBC Bitesize

Anyone achieved an A* grade just by using the two revision sources above?

Hi sorry you haven't got a reply until now. I used BBC Bitesize for my Physics Mock and I received an A on it :smile:I'm in year 10 btw
The CGP guides are my life! I swear by them tbh
Still doing my exams though but I've felt pretty happy so far
CGP are fab

Ive done maths tho and it was a life-saver - helped me get my A star!!

A lot of people say CGP revision guide contain a whole lot of stupid, unnecessary jokes. Is this true and do they actually have useful content?

They normally include jokes at the start of a page, or the bottom so it doesn't take away from the actual content
I have one for every subject and honestly everything is set out so nicely and it has all the info I need!!

Well, yeah... they do use a chatty, student-friendly/non-boring English but the jokes are too much imo... yeah, of course they have useful stuff in there, after all it IS a revision guide.

Got an A* at GCSE maths with a combination of CGP and past papers!
I always get A* in sciences and use the CGP books, the CGP apps, and my-gcsescience.com and past papers
To get an A*, you need to do past papers (lots of them). You can find them on the exam board website. (My teacher recommends spending 70℅ of your revision time doing past papers).
Thank you  Good luck for your exams
