What is the 'release clause'? If it's just a clause where the club have to 'consider' the offer like Suarez's or Bilic in the West Ham days, then it's a meaningless clause.

If it gives the player the power, well you'd have to be pretty self-centered, narrow-minded and heartless to jump from Leicester to go sideways if not take a step down. So will probably happen.

Hear we've also triggered Marco Reus's clause too.

Dayum.

What are you talking about, he'd be your best CF by miles.

He's 30 next year and has just won the PL So I doubt he'd have the same appetite for it in the coming season. I can sense he'd only come here for a massive pay rise at the end of his career.

GOAT signing if it happens.

Daft statement. Disappoint in you KK.
Vardy + Leicester thrived when they were on 40% possession and could long ball it over the defence with Vardy on the shoulder.
Wont happen @ Arsenal.

So what. Guy's on a PED program that'll keep him going for a good few years.

This guy could win you the league and you're saying he adds nothing to the squad FFS. Has more balls than 95% of your players combined.
Divers helped Arsenal become the invincibles, buy all the divers you ****ing can.
Not sure how to feel about this. On one hand, Vardy is a goalscorer plain and simple. His style of play would go perfectly in our system; pacey runs in behind defenders. Ozil would have a field day with him up front.

On the other, he's going to be 30 next season. How long can he keep doing it for? Is he a one season wonder? Is he worth the risk instead of a younger yet still talented player like Morata or Lukaku?

Very similar to Fergie's signing of Van Persie; towards the tail end of his career but can still do it for a couple of seasons. It's a big gamble no doubt, but if it pays off we win the Premier League. If not it's surely the end of Arsene Wenger's time at Arsenal. There is no justification at all for him still being in a job now in any case, but spending big money on talented players in the positions we need and still failing to win the league would be the final nail in his coffin, which imo has already been lowered into the ground.

So Vardy will struggle because Arsenal don't have the players capable of playing balls in behind? Lmao

Vardy will allow them to take a more direct approach. He's basically Ozil's wet dream.
Not to mention the fact it would be funny as f*ck. Imagine Wilsh and Vardy at the player's Christmas party.

He was playing non league 4 years ago and you question his motivation? The lad will be loving every minute of it

90% of teams will sit deep vs Arsenal. Aint no balls over the top for him.

Cant hold the ball up. Arsenal screwed.

Will lol if he actually signs.

If this transfer happens he'll have moved from Highbury to the Emirates via King Power, winning a league title at his stopover. As one of your other fans have said, he thrives on counterattacks and we're not going to give him many due to our possession style of play.

A) He's 30 next year - SO FKN WHAT? he' still got another 2/3 years ahead of him at his prime. Once he's done in 3 years or whatever we can sign another striker

B) Did someone say we should sign morata over vardy?

Dude Morata's goalscoring record fkn sucks - he's never scored more than 8 goals in the league in any season wtf. Fans like these are the reason Arsenal are mediocre. Mediocre fans wanting mediocre players. You probably think Ramsey is world class

You probably weren't watching Arsenal vs Barca this year then when we crying out for someone to finish our counter attacks but players like ox kept fking it up

90% of teams sit deep against a strong team? ****ing news mate

By that logic, no striker of Vardy's ilk will ever make it in a good team

Morata 40 million euros the most insane thing i've ever heard and these 'fans' want to sign him LMAO

I wonder how Vardy do as the mighty watford, bournemouth, stoke, swansea, west brom, middlesbrough, burnley and sunderland all sit deep

No goals for vardy

Great logic mate

Yeah he won't make it in a system that requires its striker to be able to hold the ball up and do a lot with little influence in a game. Don't know if you've notice but Arsenal aren't the most direct of teams.
Essentially a better Giroud.

Arsenal can go for him by all means. Will be lol's once they realise he isn't as good as they think.
