Some people use the term in a broader sense.

I certainly don't see these women as sluts. I just wondered if others do.

No. They are adults and as long as it's within the law, they have the protected freedoms of a liberal democracy to do as they please.

Slut is a derogatory judgmental term and I fail to see how that correlates to having ones photograph taken - nude or not.

The question is as stupid as asking if all Arabs are terrorists.

I personally feel like it's 2016 we should all just get over this idea that women who show their body are sluts! its ridiculous. Why is it when a man sexualises a woman's body it is fine! but when a woman takes hold of her own sexuality shes a hoe? It's a double standard and it's apart of the systematic oppression against women! #freethenipple

Yes and no. No because the whole idea is objectifying women for the entertainment of men, however yes, because its the womans choice.
I find it very hypocritical of men who enjoy watching porn and looking at page 3 models, who then call women sluts for enjoying sex just as much as they do!!
A woman can have just as much consensual sex as men without them being a slut, dirty or less than.

There aren't really many men who do that. TBH it's mostly women who call other women sluts. A survey of twitter found that about 60% of the use of word "slut" and "bitch" were from female accounts. Guys who do call girls those things (in any way that is actually supposed to be serious rather than just a bit kinky and where the girl is in on it) are scum though. We can agree on that.

But I don't think objectification is wrong. It's not like when a girl is posing nude, guys don't see she's a human being. It's because she's a human being that she's sexy. We view people on a similar level all the time (waiting staff, postmen, taxi drivers, pizza delivery guys, for example). We don't think about their intricate thoughts and souls, we're just happy if they perform the fairly one-dimensional role they're in successfully. And there's nothing wrong with that: we can't be expected to think deeply about everyone we see. When guys jerk off over a girl, it's not like they're ever going to imagine having a conversation about Socrates. They're going to be imagining pretty much the same thing as what's in Playboy, or far dirtier. Sex is pretty primal in that way, and thank God for that, I wouldn't want it any other way.

And don't you think it's kinda unfair on the girls who model in those kinds of publications to say that what they're doing has such a negative effect on the world, when there's really no evidence to support that view? You claim to be on their side, and yet you seem to disapprove of what they do. That's either an insult to their character, or to their intelligence.
Its not an honest living for sure. But tbqh even waitresses are 'respectable sluts' as not only do they spend their day virtually cock sucking their customers but the prettier ones will get tipped higher.

No I don't consider them to be sluts at all, if they have the confidence to show off thier bodies then good on them and shame on the people who hate because they know they aren't as confident or have a good body as them
