2016 Official AQA New Spec AS Level Physics Paper 2 - 9th June 2016

This is the official thread for this unit. Right so we've all completed the Physics AS AQA Paper 1, now i think we should start preparing each other for the next up coming Physics AS Paper 2. If anyone has got any resources, Post them here. I wanted to create a thread for the next upcoming Paper as we cannot change anything about the Paper 1, so we need to start focusing on the next upcoming Paper. Feel free to message me any resources you find useful and I will post them here.

Do we even need to know about the required practicals we've done? None of the specimen papers even mention them. Well, only briefly, but i'm beginning to question whether its actually worth writing out detailed notes for each practical?

I am so lost for this exam, don't even know what I should be revising for this exam. What is everyone else doing to prepare for the exam?

I believe it is a 1 and a half hour exam that is worth 50% of our physics grade. There will be three sections. Section A will be 20 marks of short and long questions on the different practicals. Section B is on topics on as physics (such topics such as momentum or quarks) and Section C would be be 30 multiple choice questions. Hope this helped :smile:

And for the data analysis question on Paper 2, my guess is that it will be on a current and voltage graph. They could ask to find the emf using the graph or something which is the y-intercept. It's only a guess, though! Don't count on it.
