How good is Games Technology at Bournemouth University?

I am an international student from India looking to study Bsc(Hons) Games Technology at Bournemouth University.I already have an unconditional offer and have mostly been hearing good things about the course and that BU specialises in Games Design and Animation courses in general.I still wanted an input from other current students or alumni about how good my particular course Games Technology is at BU and also how does it compare to similar courses at other Universities like Coventry,Portsmouth or York?

That is great.Yes,I do have an offer from York too.But their course,titled Interactive Media is only 3-4 years old and there is no valid data on Unistat or any Additional Accreditation.So I am a little bit apprehensive.Bournemouth however has an accreditation from TIGA.

Just saw that its not a true games technology degree. Anyways most universities have similar modules for the first 1-2 years for most computer science courses

Yeah it is not.So maybe Bournemouth is the best way to go?what do you think?

Not that I am not interested.But I am asking which would be the best.Till now as far as rankings go and in terms of recommendation for this particular course I am placing my faith in Bournemouth.So that is why I am asking how is it compared to the other Universities teaching the same course.

Did not meet any representatives or faculty if bournemouth so i have no idea how good it is. If you go purely by rankings coventry has improved a lot but then rankings don't show how the teachers and facilities are which is all that matters.

Are you from Mumbai???And which board are you from?

Yeah I know the overall ranking of Coventry is among the top 20 or so.But when you search course specific ranking for this course Bournemouth is above Coventry and Portsmouth,albeit marginally.
Also,I am from Calcutta and studied under the WB Board.

Yep,I do.And they have an additional accreditation too.But what is getting me a bit worried is their Unistats score is not what I expected to be.
