My Road to A* everywhere

Those are still definitely top notch grades. I'd be very happy with grades like that. I don't think I'm going to get any Bs though...Hopefully not anyway. I can't really say how many A*s I'm going to achieve but I'm going full out and guns blazing... That way there'll be no regrets of not giving it my all.

These are good grades but I have never received a B in my life, so it will be kinda "hard on me".
I tried to give my best but personal reasons won, sadly. Left one of my exams half an hour early because of a panic attack so it's a no-brainer for me that I won't get an A*/A in that subject. Kinda sad but that's life I guess, and things happened.

I'm sure you'll get many A*s, but even if you don't ten you shouldn't worry. The letters don't define who you are as a person.

Thanks man that means a lot. I understand that you've had personal problems whilst doing your GCSEs and I know how much of a up hill battle it is. I've got demons of my own to face ( I've got personal problems too ) That's very true. I know people that are geniuses but don't care about what they get at GCSEs. I hope you get what you want.

I'm kinda happy CIE started the exams so early - I complained at first but now I'm really pleased with that

Yeah my coordinator at first got weirded out and called the clinic 4 times before he believe I was willing going to see an operation and walk around and help the Suegeon(s). I find it all really fascinating so it'll be the time of my life hopefully!

That's less than 20 days! It'll be fine, trust me. And you won't have to wait for the results as long - it's over two months for me (assuming you also get the results on 11 August).

11th of August ? We get it on the 25th. Lol. My friend is also doing the same thing that you're going to do and his teacher couldn't believe him either. Good luck though.

My friend has a proven IQ of 157 and has been predicted all B's and C's except for maths and science. Grades really don't meant s*it for many people out there. The exams simply test is on how well we can remember unnecessary information on which we will be judged for the rest of our lives. Pointless. But needed, somehow.

I can only wait for my results, and I can either dread them or accept them. I can't change a thing anymore, so I'll just patiently wait. And when I open them I'll know that they simply show how good of a memory I have, and not how amazing of a person I can be. Because letters can spell our names, but they can't tell our stories, and who we are.

Oh damn. I'm already at school on the 25th though, so that would totally suck for me! :P Guess we both have to wait two months, haha.

Nope, Americans start on the 10th of August  Germany, but I attend an international school so I actually start vacation and school much earlier than the German kids.

Well I really wanted to go there a few months ago. It's still my dream, but the summer school will show me whether I like the place or not. Someone I know dropped out of Oxford, and I don't want to be another one :P

Depending on my IGCSE and IB results, I want apply to Oxford, Nottingham, UCL, Imperial, and maybe Sussex.
But yeah Oxford would be number 1, with Nottingham and imperial on close second place

Wow. Aim for the best and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I've got a cousin that's going to Nottingham at the moment. She's studying English Literature.

Yeah, we are after all worth only what we think we're worth. More often than not it's not enough...

I'm sure you'll like Oxford. The whole place is like a mini world. Sort of like Disney World. Lol. Of course you've got the night life and political buzz of central London. Idk much about Nottingham.

Ultimate goal is becoming a plastic surgeon who specialises in facial reconstructions. That's my life goal, for now.

Lol. London might not be for you then but I'm not one to say. I think you would prefer Oxford more then.
