Revising 2 days before?

I'm currently revising for my AS politics unit 2. I revised for unit 1 a day before and thought it went fine, and I'm now revising for unit 2 which is on Thursday.

I've worked quite hard over the year and have pretty much got straight As in it. Politics is my life, but Although I don't think revision is going too badly I'm starting to worry that I may miss my A in unit 2 purely because I've heard that revising right before will mean you won't do well? Is there any truth in this or do you think I'll be alright?

It's really dependent on the person! There is that guy who has something 22 A-levels and he just read the textbooks overnight
It is advisable to revise for longer than a day or two though!
