Never fractions, right? I.e. if the answers 5/7 I'd like it as 0.714?

Well i dont think it really matters, as in the mark scheme it allows both

Whenever a numerical value of g is required, take g = 9.8 ms^-2 and give your answer to either two or three S.F.
So if you are not using g it is fine to leave the answer as a fraction.

Hey, how much does it matter that I used a method that the mark scheme doesn't mention? I get the correct answer but I have used a different SUVAT equation than specified in the mark scheme.

Since the exam is in 9 hours can you please answer this quickly?

As long as you use a suvat equation with the correct signs (+ or -) and get the right answer then it will be fine. Doesn't have to be the one stated in the mark scheme and obviously examiners get a much more detailed MS.

yh you might need to apply them especially when working with vector triangles.

Its helpful for say a triangle of forces question makes it easy to solve. Just go over it shouldnt take long, its basic C2 stuff (cosine/ sine rule)

What about if, with the questions with like tan(theta) = 3/4, i just put in cos(arctan(3/4) instead of the value of theta or precalculating it??
