Which glucose thing ?

Neural mechansims of eating behaviour.
Doesn't glucose ring a bell? It's an important aspect underlying the theory.

wait but I have just done neurotransmitters... it's too late I can't think straight
Any ideas for IDAs for factors influencing attitudes to eating behaviour?
Original post by dpka1
idas include reductionism, determinism, anmal studies ect. they could be used to criticise/support research studies- if a study used animals to test a theory, this could be argued to be ratamorphic... you could also use ida to criticise the actual theory.

Thank you xx
What does ratamorphic mean? :O

What would the question be like for eating behaviour if it is on biological explanations of an eating disorder?

Discuss or outline and evaluate biological explanations of one eating disorder

Are you referring to the glucostatic hypothesis and the lipostatc hypothesis with regards to the Dual Centre Theory
Roughly how many essays are there for eating disorder (anorexia), relationship and aggression?

For neural mechansims I am doing Glcuose and then both ventromedial hypo and lateral hypothalamus. Pretty much lol.

No idea about lipostatic is.

Yeah same

Its similar to glucose its just about our metabolism and how we respond to changes in body fat stored (as fat releases leptin) and how this inhibits feeding, so somewhat similar to how glucose works

Makes sense. I'm doing just glucose cause you can make 3 solid paragraphs on it

Homeostasis and just introduce on and off

Then lateral and rats study aphiga and neuropepitide y

Then basically opposite for ventral and talk quickly mention pv.

And evaluation well i need do that lol.

Right now I've done them all just getting it into memory and then at like 7 I'll go over stuff that are less likely to come up kholbergs and a couple others. I feel sleepy though only had 5 hrs sleep in 72 hrs but oh well I can sleep after this. How about you.
