Can anyone remember how many marks Q1 with the fractional inequality was?
How many marks was part (b) of the method of differences question?

For Q8:
Does 2 * [(region C1 from 0 to arrcos(3/4)) + (region C2 from arccos(3/4) to pi/2)] sound valid?

That's what I did too, but I must have messed up somewhere cause I got 15ish as the area, what did you get?
Did question 4 give initial conditions for part a? I got x=r/q+ce^(-qt/p). Would I drop a mark for not putting rc/q? I merged it as one constant. In the unofficial mark scheme by Ewan he has a minus and not a plus.
No Hitler video yet?
Is arsey making a mark scheme?

Yes it gave initial conditions x=0 t = 0

They try and get you an A* in normal maths, then try an A* in Further Maths, then maximise UMS in maths then maximise UMS in further maths.

would they allow multiple AS modules in further maths if that was the best arrangement for your grade? Eg/ fp1,fp2,m1,d1,s1,s2

4 I would think, if everything was right except C.

No less than 3

Guys was question 4 the one where we had to find the limiting value of X. If so what was part b and c of it. I'm really confused now. I thought there were only 2 parts of that question.
Wonder if they'll accept the rounded answer 32.5 for the last one..

They never specified exact value...

Guys at Q4, i did integration by parts. But instead of setting u=e^x and v'=sinx, i set u=sinx and v'=e^x. I still solved it, but i think i got wrong value for C. How many marks out of the 7 do you think i will get?

I'm sure you mean v' = e^2x

I thought about it solving it in such a way, but it's a lengthier approach

Only to a certain extent, you need at least 3 A2's in FM.
So the questions
1. Inequalities (6M)
2. Method of differences (7M)
3. Complex Roots (5M) Argand Diagram (2M)
4. First order Diff (4M) + (1M) + (7M)
5. Tan(x) (5M) + (5M)
6. Second Order Diff (4M) +(7M) + (2M)
7. Can't remember
8.Polar Coordinates (4M)+ (7M)
What i can vaguely remember ^ can someone improve
Easiest paper I've done for fp2. Full UMS in the bag. Hmu if you wanna know any solutions
WASNT THE CONSTANT 1 for 4B?

The Taylor series was 7 marks and 2 marks

To anyone saying question 4c was difficult.
Yes it probably was if you'd never seen it before, but you should have seen it through doing revision for C4, if you havent revised for C4 yet then you need to!
FP2 is an A2 module, and if you just consider the fact that it has differential equations in it, you are expected to know the C4 content for it as you are given formulae for C4, so Edexcel are well within their right to bring it up!

ah ok makes sense, thanks
