Also did anyone get 146.5 for the mean of the apples?

yes
What points did everyone plot for the 2 marks in spearmans rank (where rs = 1 but r does not equal 1)

oh **** yeah sorry it was spearmans rank

Haha no worries, you had to use their position on the x and y axis as ranks, so they were 12345 and 12354. I think the final answer was 0.9

Did a straight line with one point higher than the rest

I thought it was that < 130 < or equal to 140 (or something like that)
At 140 it is the LQ. At the LQ there is 25%.

100% is 52 apples so 25% is 13.

Thanks! That makes sense

Yeah I did like probability of x greater than or equal to 2 for n as 3 and p as 0.3

Did you have to do it that way? I think I just used the probabilities in the table to do it

I got 0.04, but 0.072 for the second one

I got 0.04 and 0.072 as well

I did it so that the points created a curved line

For the 'abba' question:

I think it was ((3C2 x 2C2) x (2! x 2!))/ 7C4 x 4! = 1/70

I think that was correct

Yeah that's what I did cause you had to pick 4 from 7 but then there were 4! Ways of arranging that 4 then finding the arrangements of ABBA and just dividing

I did it do that the points created a curved line

It doesn't matter as long as the ranks were equal and it wasn't a straight line

Are you sure?! Loads at my school said was wrong

It is right, I did it a weird way, but there were three ways of picking two As and two Bs, so I did 3/7C4 which was 3/35, but then out of the two As and the two Bs, there are 6 ways of arranging them so there's a 1 in 6 chance of it being in the order of ABBA. So I divided 3/35 by 6 which is 1/70, or 0.0143

A zigzag which has a positive correlation, means r not 1 but rs still=1
