it was 3.25 cha unlucky, i made sure that i was right aswell, and also 4.66666666666 seems almost inevitably incorrect as edexcel barely ever use bizaare numbers for an x value unless the total value is an integer or an number under 3 significant figures

Lol cheers. Just realised that I didn't read the question correctly and thought that the sides were x+10 and 2x+ 3, not X+ 10 and X+ 3. Should only lose 1 method mark, maybe 2 so it's all good :smile:

Ah yes they were. Hopefully! I only got a C last year so I'm praying for a B, maths is not my forte :crossedf:

as long as you have applied the correct working out to your wrong answer u will only lose a mark.

Really annoyed because I wanted to beat my mark from last years exam for methods. Although I know I've lost at least 4 marks from this question and the angle in the kite just because I don't RTFQ :frown: so annoyed tbh, at least I've learnt something though ahaha!

Unofficial mark scheme (some of it):

75 Euros for the first question,
31 degrees for the kite,
87.5% for the last one,
13 for stratified sample,
the supermarket was the better choice,
linear programming - shade the bottom part and the point (44,44) to find the profit (which is £19000 and something),
4x for the rectangle in the rhombus question,
3.25 for the rectangle and the big rectangle (perimeter)
the flowchart - the £0.25 is replaced by £0.30 ....

so far, gonna make the rest in a bit.

Tell me if anything needs changing ../

I'm expecting the boundaries to be no lower than 84 for an A* and no higher than 88 for an A*. Tell me if you want the other ones.

Is the linear programming one not (92,20) and that gets a profit of 19,120 because when it's (44,44) I only got a profit of around 17000 something
I got t=4√10x for the rhombus question, seems like I should've learnt the formula for that (or actually read the question properly and realised that the area couldn't have been the width times the height).

2(6x) = 6x+ 26
12x= 6x + 26
6x = 26
X= 4.6 recurring


x = 4.3 recurring*

You got 16x squared for the shaded area, then you had to squareroot it to get 4x
