Hi I'm going to start and unofficial markscheme so add your answers
Reps are not necessary but would be appreciated :smile:

It would be really useful if you could remember the question numbers
1. Order numbers correctly and include a key
b) 0.45
2a. 30abc
b. 3(y+2)
c. x^2-3x
3. Smallest packet was best value for money because it was cheapest per bag of crisps
4. Green- 0.09 Red- 0.36
5. Ratio 4:3
b. New height 480
6. x= 9.25

19.
20. x= 0.29 or x= -2.29
21. 144 degrees
22. F.d- 1.6, 3.2, 2.4, 1.8, 0.3
23. -1/3x+4
24. 2x/(x+1)(x-1)
25. 80.4

Could you also put the number of marks for each question if that's ok? :smile:

Me too!

3.8 is correct

3.7 = Small
3.75 = Small
3.8 = Big

Always the odd one out, regardless how close it is technically.

How many do U think I would get for 3.7 with all the calculations? 3/4?

I got different to everyone for the quadratic formula... did anyone get -2.29 and 0. something ????

yeah i did, i thought it might be wrong but i tried it a few times and got the same

Same
144 degrees because opposite angles are equal :smile:

also, that was the question where you had those triangles on top of each otther and you had to use trigonometry to find the side, then use that side and the other one to find the angle?

I'm pretty sure i read that x is the smaller angle and got like 16 or 18 or w/e lol

Maybe i messed up with calculating the side :/

Did you not already have the opposite and the hypotenuse?
What I did was Sin^-1(o/h) of the larger triangle to find the angle of the whole triangle and then took 30 away from it to get x
My calculator was in radians, and it messed everything up so much.

WHAT TO DO?
Does anyone remember their answer for...22, I think? Making y the subject?

I forgot what the numbers were but I think I got (5b - x)² = y. Not sure whether that's even near the realm of correct but rearranging questions are always hit-and-miss for me.
Did you guys remember the key on stem and leaf ?:smile:
yeah me too
If I got an A (around 70) in NC and an A* (82/4) in this one what grade would i get overall?

I honestly think (and hope) they'll accept a range of 81.1 - 81.4 because they are sometimes lenient with rounding in calculations (to 2/3 dp/sf)

Hopefully we'll get 6 marks :x

Man i went hard in this test. What did you get for how many metal rods can you fit in the trolley?
when is the paper gonna leak with all the solutions?

LOL The answer is 80.x, x meaning any number. The most precise answer was 80.3 though.

The answer was 80.4, if anyone got 80.3 it's a rounding error and 80.1 it's rounding errors throughout :smile:

Not sure which question but trial and improvement was 3.8
The last question was
....3
3X +6X -2 =0 work out x so it can't be degrees but apart from that I agree
