Because it is a cubic graph, the points should be connected with smooth curves, check on desmos or a graphing app

Oh nooo does that mean you get no marks for it at all? :frown:
can someone post the questions?

Did anyone else get 80.1 for the last one? It's because at some point I rounded it to 2dp and then worked it out with that. I wasn't sure whether to round to 2dp or 1dp (if I rounded to one at that point sna then carried on my final answer would have been 80.4). I ended up deciding to go for the 2dp and then getting 80.1 because it was more accurate but I'm not sure cause everyone says 80.4

I also got 80.1 We'll lose an accuracy mark. Doubt we'll lose 2. So 5/6 is not too bad for a 6 marker.
I left it like that tol, it should be full marks.

for question 1b i left my probability as 9/20... how many marks would i have got for that?
I got 28.94 for the sector question? What question number was it?
And what was the question for the bounds? I want to rework it out

I actually feel really confident with this paper, there weren't really any questions that were very challenging, and hopefully I got that a* :biggrin: I also heard from other people that this was easier than the non-calc paper

Also, for Q24, I think you could simplify 2x/(x+1)(x-1) to just 2x/(x^2)-1, as this would technically be more simple

Actually 2x/(x+1)(x-1) is more simplified

Hi I'm going to start and unofficial markscheme so add your answers
Reps are not necessary but would be appreciated :smile:

It would be really useful if you could remember the question numbers
1. Order numbers correctly and include a key
b) 9/20=
0.45
2a. 5a*2b*3c =
30abc
b. Factorise fully 3y +6 =
3(y+2)
c. Expand x(x-3)=
x^2-3x
3.
x=9.25
4. Smallest packet was best value for money because it was cheapest per bag of crisps
5. Green- 0.09 Red- 0.36
6a. 20.3
b. 68.04kg
c. 2.61m
7. 3.8
8a. 4:3
b. 480 pixels
9.x= 124 degrees
10. 7.92
11.£42.29
12. x=144 degrees
13.
-2 -1 0 1 2
-1 3 1 -1 3
Draw curve
14. 3 Bars
15. No, because 7766.22 was greater than 7500 pounds
16. 128g
b.11g
17. 30.1
18. 10a^5b^4
b. y= 5p^2-x
19.11 males
20. x= 0.29 or x= -2.29
21. 29.25
22. F.d- 1.6, 3.2, 2.4, 1.8, 0.3
23. -1/3x+4
24. 2x/(x+1)(x-1)
25. 80.4

23. Was part a of 24.
The answer for 23 was 28.9cm
I got 40 on the last question, can someone tell me how to get 80.4. I used the sine rule and did 0.5x7x8xSinC=18
Then i worked that out until i had SinC=some thing and i did shift sine that number and got 40? People are telling me i had to use consine rule. And i knew my answer was wrong anyway becasue i checked it with the consine rule and i got some werid number

A* = Roughly 169
A = Roughly 132
B = Roughly 98
C = Roughly 77

169 for an A*? What makes you think that?
Original post by Disfuligee
Yes they are the same thing just multiplied by -1/-1

How many marks would this get
3-x/(2x+4)(x-3)

For the simplifying quadratic fraction I got -3x-4
Anyone else???

You'll get marks for plotting the points, but you can't get all the marks I'm afraid

If I have the correct numbers,This is one way of doing last Q

Area = ( absinC)/2Sin-1 C

= 18x2/(7x8)= 40.00520088 degrees (DO NOT ROUND)

a^2 = b^2 + c^2 - 2 x b x c= 27.20955764 cm (DO NOT ROUND)

Cos A^-1= (b^2 + c^2 - a^2) / 2 x b x c

= 80.37550115

= 80.4 degrees

30.1

I got 5.1 because i used triganomatree to work out the two angles together and i took away 30 to find x. But i probably got it worng because i couldnt figure out which was adjacent or opisite since the hyppotonusewas not adjacent to the angle so ur probably right lol
I said 9 out of 20 but as a fractition
I swear that body mass substitution question nearly caught me out - for part b I initially forgot the height had to be squared. Luckily I noticed afterwards and changed it, getting an answer somewhere in the 60s
I missed the key for question 1... Of all the marks to lose it just had to be that xD
