the hexagon one was 144 degrees

If the answer to question 23. Is (3-x)/(x-3)(3x+4), then, you could've done this -

-(x-3) / (x-3) (3x-4) Cancel out top and bottom (x-3). You will get an answer which is -1/ 3x-4

It was a tricky question with that minus to change either top or bottom expression to turn the nominator and denominator to be the same, apart from 3x -4.

You could have also get the final answer as positive fraction if you turn minus in front of the fraction into positive, but then you have to write it as 1/4-3x because of this 1/ -(3x-4). To get rid of the bracket with minus in front of it is like multiplying the values inside by -1 but we don't write -1, just simply (-) which changes the values in brackets to 4-3x.

What was the original question please because I don't know it? Only looking at your posted answers.

You are wrong. The trial and improvement was 3.7. I checked many times with my friends, myself and my teachers

Did you're teachers say this?
3.7^3 - 5(3.7) = 32.153
34 - 32.153 = 1.847
So 3.7 is 1.847 away.

3.8^3 - 5(3.8) = 35.872
35.872 - 34 = 1.872
So 3.8 is 1.872 away.

This shows 3.8 being 0.025 further away than 3.7. 3.7 is closer. This is why i put 3.7, but idk, people are getting rather rowdy at me for putting this idea forward xD

No way! most of us are waiting for his paper. It is so difficult to mark without proper marks for each question. Can anybody put on at least the blank exam??? please???

it was three bars

I got 5 :frown:
For the quadratic equation question I did all the correct method and everything but I got two different answers, one of which was right but on the answer line I put the wrong answer as I didn't know which one was right between the two so I just guessed. I wrote down the other answer quite clearly and just circled it, will I still get the marks or will I get one deducted?

Anyone else here think that the second half of the paper was easier than the first half? lol
you have to find what the SOLUTION is rounded to one decimal place. The solution was over 3.75 so it rounded to 3.8.
It's not that difficult tbh
anyone know the context for the question for q6?
