69 probaby
Just dreadful. Lol i cant do physics. :frown:
My mind just blanked on quite a lot of questions. MCQ was alright.
Poor wording on some of the MCQ imo.

The only hope I have got is that grade boundaries are really low. And that my paper 1 will pull me up.
Imo it felt like the second set specimen paper :frown:

is it not lambda/4? I thought cause the mass of alpha particle is 4x that of a proton, it would be 1/4 as its inversely proportional😁

Yh i got lamba/4. Basically if one side is multiplied by 1/4, then the other side must be too

I got 2.6 and 5.6? Do you think there wil be a range, this is the only question I thought I didnt fail!

I got that exactly

did people get four for the number of components??
i got 4.39... and rounded it down
Original post by sophbunny161
Put pi/4 coat it was 1/8th of a wavelength path difference. thus phase difference was 2pi/8 so that simplifies to pi/4

Ohhhhh. C2 maths.... ok thanks (not much help now lol)

for the number of components did anyone get 4?
Reply 338
I got 1/4 lambda

What was the answer for de broglie wavelength for alpha
It should be 4, rounding up to 5 means that the power exceeds 100w when it's not meant to
