It depends on the examiner, but if you are talking about the probability one, as long as you have shown that you were figuring out the right suff, just used the wrong fractions, you'll likely get the ECF or will only lose 1 mark.

Made my day bro! Thanks a lot

Does anyone know the grade boundaries for a c

I think for part b of the Venn diagram question it was 5/9 and not 9/64, as it asked the probability of the students who both owned a desktop and a laptop to also have a tablet.

i got 5/9

More... I would estimate for that paper:
A*=85

Nope.Never been above 82,And it was not the ''easiest'' paper ever.

also, can you remember the 2 values stated for m and p?

m=512
p=128
what do you guys think an A will be? ;((((
what was question 12a?

64, probably.

Just noticed - 22a is wrong.
It was 2q - 5p
Because it was 1:4 in ratio, where 1 was equal to p, so the entire line was 1+5 = 5p

No you are wrong. That doesn't fit in with the last question.

Definitely the easiest within the last six years (i dont know about the regional papers though), so I would stick with my belief of 85, but hey the lower the better!

Yes it does - it asked for ON.
OM was stated as being p and OM=1/4NM
Therefore NM = 4p and OM = 1p, therefore, ON = 5p.

And that definitely fits in with the last queation which asked about QR and OM being parallel - 22)a had no effect on any of the other questions.

No that's wrong. If OM was p, and OM was 1/4 of ON, then ON = 4 x p = 4p

I'm pretty sure it was 60 degrees

It was 41, because you find the sum of the interior angles by doing 180(n-2), then you rearrange the formula to find the value of x. I hope it makes sense :smile:
Has anyone got a copy of the exam?
