i know ive been doing past papers for ages even a few in the morning, really hope the exam does eff us up.

Was pretty decent, a couple of odd questions but other than that good stuff 🙌 hope everyone else did alright! (low-key actually hoping everyone failed so there'll be lower grade boundaries)

adv of fermentation: renewable resources, less expensive because less energy costs since low temperature
disadv: slow,doesn't produce pure ethanol
outline a method: use nitric acid followed by acidified agno3, reacts with all anions, produce a white precipitate, measure time taken for both with stopwatch, use same conditions(temp) to ensure fair test
sulfuric acid was electrophilic addition, secondary carbocation more stable than primary
Ba2+ so42- goes to Ba2SO4
Fe + Cu2+ goes to Fe2+ + Cu
Some answers I remember. It was a pretty good paper.

Was it pros and cons of fermentation or hydration im sure it was hyrdration as it asked for the conditions for hudration in the qeustion
